Club 4 wheeler and trailer for sale. Bidding ends 6/4 @ 6PM

The Board of Directors has decided to sell the club's 1999 Polaris Sportsman 500 and trailer. We have received interest from many club/non-club members and in the best interest of NESS, and fairness to all, we will sell it to the highest bidder per the terms/conditions below. This posting will be the only notice.

Bidding is open to anyone 18 or older. Bids will close Fri 6/4/10 at 6PM. Payment in cash for full amount, paid within 24 hrs of closing or it will go to the next highest bidder. No exceptions. Sold as-is, where is, no warranty. No refunds will be given. We have paperwork for both the 4 wheeler and trailer. One receipt will be issued to the seller for the total amount. If you are interested you MUST call Eric @ 860-9770 and report the amount of your bid. Not responsible for lost calls or messages. I will be posting bids on this message board to keep everyone informed of the current status. Replies to this post and from user name "Prez" will be the only valid post.

4 Wheeler
1999 Polaris Sportsman 500, red, 4x4. Miles/hrs unknown. Runs but does not drive. The clutch is bad and needs repair. There may be other items that are broke/worn but it is up to the bidder to inspect it prior to closing time. You may call me to arrange inspection.
Trailer:
Home made, year unknown, single axle, 2" ball. Bad axle. There may be other defects but it up to the bidder to inspect it prior to closing. sold as-is, where is, no warranty and must be taken at time of payment.

lol.......2 minutes after original post someone bid 600 dollars and then it sold an hour before deadline....lol
and it all happened in 5 days.....guess you need to check ness website daily......

When the bids starting comming in, that's when I decided to post it and sell it to the highest bidder. If it makes you feel any better, the bids were: 300, 350, 500, and 600. I saw no reason to list the lower ones as by the time I posted it, it was already at the $600. This bid remained open from May 30th until June 4th (plenty of time for anyone else to bid). It closed at 6PM on June 4th per the rules and the $600 was still the highest so it went to that bidder.

$600 bid was not 2 minutes after posting nor did it close 1 hour before it was supposed to. I can't say why you think that but check the clock on your computer as it uses this to report the times you see.

Checking the website frequently is always recommended as this is the only form of up-to-the-minute communication we have (other than the monthly meetings). For reference, we did discuss the wheeler sale at our meeting on 5/27. Another reason to attend! Hope this helps.

I was not a bidder on the club wheeler but watched it as I thought maybe I would bid. Prez you are most correct the bid was open till the time ran out and all you stated was correct.
